The 2013 St. Patrick's Day Parade marched up Fifth Avenue in New York City on Saturday, March 16th. Although traditionally held on March 17th, because that day was a Sunday the parade moved to Saturday. Pipe and Drum bands from the area were plentiful as were uniformed services from various Emerald Societies in the tri-state area.

The Polar Bear club held their annual swim at Coney Island on New Year's Day, 2013. Hundreds of bathers embraced the icy waters of the Atlantic as the temperature hovered in the mid-30's. NYC Photo News captured all the action. More photos here.

SantaCon 2012 took place on Saturday, December 15, 2012. It began with a gathering of Santas, elves, reindeer, and other assorted Christmas characters at Pier 84 and spread out across midtown Manhattan. It eventually concluded in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
